Ms. Low Teck Heng

Director of Corporate Affairs of Sudut Swasta Group of Companies (SSG)

Ts. Low Teck Heng has 35 years of experience in the building material industry. He is the Director of Corporate Affairs of Sudut Swasta Group of Companies (SSG), which he co- founded in 1999. Ts Low graduated from University Malaya with a Bachelor Degree majoring in Economics in 1984. He was accepted as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Management in 2001. Subsequently he became a Certified Trainer of HRDF in 2017. 

He began his career as a Management Trainee in the Building Materials Division of the Hong Leong Group. He was promoted through the ranks, and his last position was the Exports Manager of Guocera Tiles Industries Sdn Bhd. 

In his next career move, he became the General Manager of Trans-Global Agencies Bhd, and Group General Manager of Dijaya Enterprise Sdn Bhd. Thereafter, to gain international experience, he took on the role of Vice-President of Dijaya Ceil International Ltd, based in Shanghai. 

With his extensive knowledge and experience, he co-founded Sudut Swasta Sdn Bhd in 1999, which specialised in the trading and distribution of building materials, and never looked back since. 10 years later, Sudut Swasta went through a business transformation, and created the PLY TEC brand to establish its own identity, to keep up with the times and technological advances. 

He is the advocator of Digitalization in Construction industry, and spearheaded the setting up of its own Building Information Modelling (BIM) Centre. He is also the founding member of Integrated BIM Academy (IBA), which offers a specialised BIM training programme, to arm trainees with industry ready skills in BIM so that they become employable and ready to serve our Malaysian construction industry. With this. he was recognised as a Professional Technologist by Malaysia Board of Technology in Feb 2019.
